Getting Serious

hey to all my ‘ole friends~

I have been absent awhile! I am finally taking the bull by the horns. I just signed up for my free assessment at the gym with a trainer to set up a routine for me. I am going to go to the gym in the mornings before work- now the kids are out for summer. Back in sept of 07 I managed to lose 30 lbs by dec of 2007 eating healthy doing Turbo Jam  and Hip Hop abs, biking and eating clean. I got from a 16 to a 12 in jeans was awesome. From 201  to 171.8. I guess I got comfortable there and stopped doing the exercise and started slacking on the eating well. I have gained all but 6 lbs back of the 30 I lost. When I lost the weight I was able to stop taking my blood pressure meds and avoided have to take diabetic meds. I am fearing if I do not start losing this weight again that I will end up on meds again.  So I am getting back in my go mode- I was so happy with myself when I lost 30 lbs. It was the best feeling buying 12’s. I had people telling me how great I looked etc. So I am brushing myself off and going to stop whining and feeling bad and depressed and take myself back!

    I know you can do it! I have had to re-evaluate all my exercise & diet options as well. There is nothing better than a fresh start. Hang in there!
